Asra "Aztec Child" Postcard

The little person, Asra also called the "Living Doll" was exhibited in the early 20th century.

Asra was born in 1898 with a condition known as microcephaly, a developmental disorder which causes the skull and brain to be undersized. Microcephalics are also typically of short stature.
