Dark green cloth with gilt lettering on spine and front. On Volume 1, gilt lettering on spine is partly rubbed off. Volume 1 has previous owner's name in pencil. Volume 2 has previous owner's name and date in ink. Volume 3 has gift inscription in pencil. All 3 books have wear to extremities, especially at the top and bottom of spine.
